Margaret was my first Grade 6 in the Civil Service and I owe my current career to her, making sure I was given a welcome introduction and offering me regular statistical help and guidance. She always defended the team in the face of opposition, was passionate about her subject, and always had time to talk with me. Margaret had high standards and was a role model to me on how to work effectively with different colleagues. She will sorely be missed by all who knew and worked with her.
