I can’t pretend that I knew Dens as well as many of the people sharing their heartfelt messages here, but she is someone I am very proud and glad to have known.  A driven individual, with a sharp wit and deep loyalty to IOPP and Physics World – always determined to do her best and to make our products the best they could be. She set the bar high, yet still managed to engender not just respect, but genunie affection from all those who worked with her. IOPP won’t be the same without her and my sincere condolences to Ewan, Dens’ family and all who were lucky enough to call Dens their friend.
