I only met your mum annually, when I arranged the lunch to thank all the people in Beckenham U3A who ran a group on behalf of the other members. She ran one of our mahjong groups, very successfully too (which is at why I only met her once a year). It was good to catch up with Val at those lunches: she was kind, cheerful, and knew many of the other group leaders. She will be sadly missed. My thoughts are with you.
