Dearest B

My brilliant friend.  You were the most encouraging, kind, generous, funny (although not always intentionally!), dedicated and sometimes stubborn person!

Your utter strength and resilience over the last year was just incredible.  You always said that people gave you energy but the reality is that, to me, you were the energy source.  A chat with you would leave me charged and full of positivity. You always seemed to be able to just inspire a belief that it was possible to do it all and I was always so grateful and so in awe of you for that. 

I will miss working alongside you, our sunshine lunches which, despite best intentions, always ended with cake, our afternoon coffee runs, our random chats, your incredible shoe collection, our mutual hatred of mayonnaise, your quirky sense of humour, your Netflix recommendations and our Gogglebox style reviews of some of them, but really I will just miss everything about you.  I already do.

Horia, Kara, Luca and family – thank you all for letting us into your home, your lives and doing everything you did which enabled B to give so much of herself to others.
