Dad,

Whilst this has been a painful goodbye, I will always remember our times together.

The things you taught me, the stories you told me, the places you took me and the love and kindness you showed me and your grandchildren Mollie and Ava. My most cherished memory will be our final breakfast together and our game of scrabble, merely paused until next time old man. The world will continue to turn, the sun will continue to rise, and life must go on. My sun will be less bright, my world will turn more slowly, and our lives have changed for ever. 

We all love you, will miss you and will carry you in our hearts. You live on in all of us.
