Steve was just a lovely guy, as the most non-technical person in the company by a mile he always took the time and normally considerable effort to explain to me what was happening and the implication of where we were going.  Considering how many different projects and activities he was doing at the same time he had this ability to always look calm and take time to talk it’s a skill I wish I had myself.  I will personally miss him lots.
