KENNETH DESMOND BENEDICT NEWMAN-SMART

Sometimes it is hard to find words to express one’s feelings of the demise of loved ones. I got to know Ken (and Mavis), some 31 years ago, when I came to the U.K. They’ve been personal friends of my sister for a long time. I’ve found Ken as we all know him, to be friendly, helpful and always willing to give advice when necessary whenever I paid them visits on my home from work mostly on Fridays. Another thing that I will always remember him for is his love for his bicycle those days. Always cycling.

Ken, you’ve lived your life well. You’ve now journeyed to the unknown, a journey that all is bound to take. Sleep well and take your rest brother.

On behalf of my sister Rita, in Freetown, and on my behalf and our families, I wish to express our deepest sympathy to Mavis, Karl and the rest of the family.

The Lord has spoken, let’s all say Amen.
