Looking back on my memories of the Reach Activity Weeks I attended from age 10 onwards, starting in Wales, I can always remember Jo’s joyful, enthusiastic, caring and funny presence. Jo is there in some of my earliest memories of meeting new people like me and I can remember just how comforting and easy to talk to she was, I even remember looking at her arm as I learned that everyone’s is different and unique.

Jo personified exactly what it means to be a reach mentor and I’m gutted that so many new kids attending RAW won’t recieve the guidance, motivation and spirit she brought to each week. I learnt a lot from Jo and I credit her and the other RAW mentors for a large part of who I am today.
