I was so saddened and shocked to hear the news of Vicky’s passing. Working so closely together in the BI team, we quickly found we had a lot in common. We’d often chat about our huge love for animals and the number of pets we had between the both of us. And found humour in how over the top we were with organising and attention to detail. You were a massive part of our team and will be missed so much. My sincere condolences go to all of Vicky’s family and friends. …

I recall a meeting in 2019 when you took a very complex patient pathway and very visually explained it to us showing all the points stopped, started and recorded. That is a rare skill. We shall miss you here at WSFT and pray that your memory will continue to inspire.  …

Vicky, what can I say, I was devastated on hearing of your passing, you were my manager from your 1st day in the CCG up until only a couple of months ago.  From the first day, your energy and enthusiasm shone through and we (You, Jill and I) quickly became a great team.  We often went out for lunches with a few other friends that you made through the CCG and drew into your circle of close friends and this then extended to several “Gin Nights” at each others houses…where you really let your hair down, as well as the Prosecco’s & Gin’s. On my last visit to your home in December where I took the photo of Jack above. You proudly showed off your special new glasses that you had bought for Jill & I to have our gin in, only for Alfie to grab and pull a loose phone charger lead which sent both glasses smashing across the floor.  You adored your pets and were keen for them to be part of our evenings, though Jack was a little less keen to be part of them, preferring to hide on one of his shelves (possibly due to …

It has been such a terrible shock to hear of Vicky’s passing and we all so saddened as a team to lose her. Vicky was so kind and thoughtful and always had time for everyone but she was also exceptionally good at her job. She was always on hand to support colleagues when they needed it but always had time for a chat. I worked with Vicky several times over the past few years and I feel honoured to have known her. Recently we chatted about her new little puppy Alfie who is the same breed as my dog, so Vicky had asked for some tips when he’d been keeping her up at night. I want to pass on my sincere and heartfelt condolences to all of Vicky’s family and friends and we’re all thinking of you at this devastating time. Vicky will be so missed by all of us here at the ICB. Much love to you all xxxxxx …

I am still finding it hard for this news to sink in and am missing Vicky dearly. Not only did i have the pleasure of working with her from her first day in the CCG, but also became good friends too.  As everyone on here has said, she was very good at her role and very hard working, but was so glad to get to know the Vicky out of work too. We use to wind each other up and play tricks on each other but ultimately used to make each other laugh so much too and always I always enjoyed hearing from her , be it about her weekend plans or videos / photos of her animals 🙂 . What makes me really sad, is remembering our last conversation where she discussed all the plans she had made with her cottage holiday and various trips she had planned. She was so happy and had a real twinkle in her eye. Really will miss you Vicky, you certainly left your mark, not just with me but for everyone you met and will always remember you. My thoughts are with the family and to all the lives that she touched …

I had the great pleasure of line managing Vicky over the last 3 years.  Vicky was always very positive and enthusiastic about her work and very much enjoyed interacting with people. I enjoyed working with Vicky, she was always happy to get involved, learn new things, and help anybody if she could.  I got a true sense she loved what she did. I had a real sense that Vicky was just finding a career path that I was sure she would excel at and develop in to, along with her plans to become a school governor she was really finding her way in life.  That made the news of Vicky’s sudden passing even more of a shock. I will miss Vicky and there truely is a void within the team since Vicky’s passing. My sincere condolences on your loss.  I hope that all the stories and love shown in these messages offer some comfort.  Vicky was a very special person. …

Vicky was a beautiful person whose presence lit up the room. It was a privilege to work for her as my manager and it was an honour to also call her my friend.
