In Memory of

Lynn Profile2 (3)

Lynn Hill

This book is a collection of memories … memories we all have of Lynn as she touched our lives.  It is a place to leave our stories and a place we can all reflect in the coming days, months and years ahead.

Please share so we can all help keep her memory alive.  She was a very special friend and colleague to many of us, someone who was always there to listen and help wherever she could.  She had an amazing 32 years’ service with Aviva and the knowledge and breadth of experience that came with that service was invaluable to so many of us.  We will miss her wisdom and guidance.

She will be a much missed friend and colleague

I only got to know Lynn in recent years, despite working in Aviva for a similar length of time, when our paths first crossed on a project called Sandy.  I can remember a crowd of us went out for a Burns night supper in Perth after one of the many workshop sessions for that …

Lynn has been a colleague and friend for over 15 years. Although she was based in Perth and I in London we had plenty of time together. Especially when I persuaded her that spending the night in her hotel room with a Tesco’s meal deal was not the best use of her time whilst …

Absolutely devasted to hear this sad news. Fond memories of Lynn from when we both worked at Perth Branch in the late 80s and early 90s. Always smiling, which is a great way to be remembered. Sleep well Lynn. …

If memory serves, I first met Lynn at a CII dinner in Perth, 20 odd years ago. Good company and easy to talk to. We both knocked around in commercial underwriting over the years, until we ended up in the same team sitting together on level 4 at Pitheavlis. Well … what a hoot. …

Twenty one years ago I moved to Perth to work at Perth Branch of Aviva.  I worked alongside Lynn in Commercial Underwriting where she helped me grow and develop my knowledge.  Between working together and lots of nights out we struck up a long lasting friendship. Even when our jobs and lives changed course …

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Lynn 32 years ago at Perth branch of the General Accident Insurance company.  Many a great night out I remember with her over the years.  We worked together off and on across various departments in those 32 years working for the same company.  Lynn was …

What can I say about my friend Lynn….. She was kind, loyal, funny, empathetic, supportive……there are so many words I can use to describe her and they will never be enough. She was always there for you. She took the time to know you and always seemed to send just the right card and …
