You only have to take a look From all the words inside this book   Jas was so happy Working for BT   A smile that would make your day And send you off on your way   A great listening ear Thoughtful, caring that is oh so clear   A gossip, giggle always up for fun A cheeky chat on the coffee run   Jas gave us everything we could have asked for It’s sad to think she is with us no more   The clouds will move away one day And the sun will shine as Jas did in every way   …

Dear Jas   I’ll be honest – I’ve put off writing this because it feels like I’m closing a door I’ve being trying to keep open.   Despite knowing you for nearly 10 years, it’s over ‘lockdown’ that I feel I really got to know you.  One of the benefits of speaking at the start of each day, and having a window into your home, is that we spoke about friends and family and holidays and food and movies and weddings and online shopping and religion and kitchens….as much as we ever spoke about work.  It was such a pleasure.   You brought something special to BT – an easy charm which put everyone at their ease and helped you build an incredible network of friends and colleagues.  Your warmth was your superpower and with all those connections, there was nothing you couldn’t do.  We’re all the poorer now for your passing.   I miss you and I’m grateful to have known you as long as I did.   Gone too soon but always remembered.   Russell …

What a shock and a sad day when we all found out Jas was no longer with us.  That mischievous giggle always brightened up any day when speaking with her.  The now famous double act of Sue and Jas may not be no more, but all the memories will last forever.  She will be missed so much by her BT family.  Rest in peace Jas. …

I have found it so difficult to write this as I can’t believe Jas is no longer with us.  She was a good friend with a kind heart, a gentle soul and a generous spirit.   I have so many fond memories that I will treasure – early morning chats before the rush started, sitting next to Jas and Sue on B7 giggling and joking, talking about our boys and family get togethers. Jas – you were taken too soon, and my heart is heavy.  You were always there to offer support and advice and I miss you.  My thoughts and prayers are with your lovely family x   …

That infectious laugh, that cheeky smile, that wicked sense of humour and that inspring positive attitude…these are the things I think of when I think of you Jas. You had that rare gift of making people feel better…more positive….happier…after they spoke to you. I’ll always remember those chats I had with Sue and you and how i bounced away from them feeling better about life. Im smiling as I write this, reflecting on those moments now. You will always be remembered, always be loved and always be missed.   Rustum. …

Jas, I have struggled to find the words to write this as I still can’t believe you are gone. You were one of the first people I caught up with after returning from maternity leave and you were so excited to see how Hallie and I were doing. One of the last things you said to me was to enjoy the time with her as it will soon fly by and losing you just shows how precious time really is. I loved our catch ups in passing and you always had a smile on your face. You were a wonderful ray of sunshine around BT and one of the kindest souls I’ve ever met. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. You will be greatly missed xxx …

Jas, I will forever remember you as one of loveliest ladies I ever had the pleasure to meet. Always there for a catch up and laugh, so incredibly supportive and caring. You will be missed – sending so much love to your family at this incredibly hard time, you’re in my thoughts and prayers. x …

Jas, I have only happy, smiley memories of my time with you. You were such a kind and gentle soul, always welcoming when I visited BTC, so happy to help and a cheerful, calming force in my slightly chaotic world. I will always remember our conversations with fondness whether it was about raising boys or how I was going to get a bag of BT branded Christmas baubles back to Bristol in one piece. It was a joy and a privilege to know you and I will really miss you. x …
