Janice Phillips

Janice Phillips was a much valued member of so many teams within Nomad Foods: Culinary, Bedfont and RDQ.  She always brought a smile and a solution.  She cared for our business and for so many of us. She will be greatly missed.

This book is in honour of Janice and we hope you are able to share your favourite memories and moments of your time with her.

On behalf of the Nomad Foods Executive Team, I would like to share our deep condolences for the loss of Janice.  We knew Janice through the delicious lunches that she helped to create for us on a monthly basis and also her contributions to many offsite events. I worked for 10 years at Birdseye and experienced all the highs and lows.  Always a high was seeing Janice and popping down to see her in the Iglo house – always so happy always so professional but more importantly so practical, finding solutions to any situation and always such a laugh, so human, …

Janice was a very special lady.  I met her as a colleague and she was very soon a friend.  As a colleague she was committed and determined, always doing her best.  She was also an amazing custodian of the kitchen in Bedfont, we all soon learnt not to go near her dishwasher.  I remember …

From organising tastings, to consumer groups, to just making sure that samples were safe, she was totally relaible. I could never go down there and not say hello and have …

Love …

She was so willing to help whether it was taking receipt of samples, searching for missing parcels or products or helping with cook ups and contributing to product tastings. I will miss …

I left Iglo in 2014 and was so sad to hear the news about Janice.  She was such a lovely person, always smiling and helpful.  She was so kind to me and helped me with many lunches and evening meetings … nothing was too much trouble for her.  On a more personal note, I …

I can not believe that we are getting ready to attend Janice’s funeral today, it feels so surreal. I have worked with Janice for the past 20 odd years from Walton (facilities team) to Feltham (R & D). Janice would pop round to us at reception for a little catch up or it would …

Liz Pymont

For the 13 years I have been with Nomad, Janice was always there to help, listen and have a giggle with. She was an incredibly kind lady that would always be thinking of and helping others. You can see from the messages on here how much she meant to us all. She will be …
