Dear Ana, Daniel and Axel, I want to share my condolences with your family. I had the pleasure of working with Ivan ever since he joined our team, and he was a thoughtful, kind and diligent person. I did not have the opportunity to connect with him as often as some of my other teammates, but even so, it was very clear to me that he deeply loved his family. He proudly posted family pictures on our work chats and would tell us stories about his family adventures. Words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss. I wish you peace and comfort in this time of sorrow and I will keep your family in my prayers. …

Dear Ana, Im so sorry to hear about Ivan’s passing and for your loss. I only recently started to work with Ivan and found him to be a diligent and positive force on the team. He spoke fondly of his family and his wonderful boys. As a father, I can’t even begin to imagine how hard this must be for all of you, and I share my deepest condolences. My thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. Sincerely, Grant Bremner …

I had the pleasure of working with and getting to know Ivan over the last (almost) two years. He was a diligent co-worker, an avid Mets fan and a devoted family man. We had regular conversations about his love for you, his family,…..and the Mets/baseball. As a father of two boys myself I felt this tragedy a bit harder than most. I think about him and miss him every day and wish nothing but the best for you and your family.  …

Dear Ana, Daniel, and Axel, I was lucky enough to have Ivan as my team member for over a year. He was an incredibly kind, diligent and supportive colleague who was thrilled to be working for HBO Max. He loved you all so much and frequently posted pictures of the boys to our team Slack channel. Ivan was such a proud dad and his intense love for you motivated him in everything he accomplished. My heart goes out to you all. Wishing you comfort, courage and peace as you learn to move forward together. Sincerely, Elena Pristave …

I’d like to share my condolences and prayers with the family of Ivan Ortiz-Diaz. I’m so sorry for your loss. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Ivan on HBO Max for the past few years and I was terribly saddened to hear about his untimely passing. Ivan was an amazing co-worker, who was always ready and willing to help out my team and I with anything that came up. He was an integral part of the success of our business, a true top performer and contributor. Aside from work, Ivan and I immediately connected upon meeting through our love for the New York Mets. Ivan was a lifelong Mets fan like myself, so we would often talk about the team, their recent games and our optimism for the upcoming seasons. I wish we could have attended a game together, but I will think of him when watching games. My heart goes out to all of you during this difficult time. I pray that God gives you the strength and guidance to overcome this tragedy. You have the love and support of all of us here at WarnerBrothersDiscovery. Ivan will always be in our memories!  Let’s Go Mets! …

Dear Ana, Daniel, and Axel,   I want to share my deepest condolences over Ivan’s untimely passing. I had the joy of hiring and managing Ivan over the course of his tenure with HBO Max, WarnerMedia, and Warner Bros. Discovery and I will always cherish the opportunity to work with him. He joined our team at a critical time and brought exceptional experience and skill which he put to work every day in a unique role as our first ever technical operations specialist supporting our ad supported streaming version of HBO Max. Through the launch and ongoing operation of this product, we made the HBO brand – which previously had only been accessible to customers able to pay ~$15 per month – accessible to a whole new set of customers who couldn’t previously afford it and Ivan played a huge part in sharing the impactful stories we create with a broader representation of the U.S. population. Ivan provided exceptional support and service to our internal teams in executing complex technical configurations and executions that allowed us to serve advertisements on HBO Max in ways that thoughtfully delivered a premium customer experience to our subscribers and evolved our company’s approach …
