In Loving Memory of

Faz

Faz (Farhan) Shakir

Dear All,

As many of you will now know, Faz Shakir has sadly passed away.

Faz was well loved throughout Haulfryn, both from his time at Infinium and as a key part of the Technology Team based at The Warren over the last few months.

This book is being shared so we can all pay our respects to a wonderful human being who will be sorely missed.

Please also feel free to share to others outside of the company who may wish to send their condolences.

Kind Regards,

Sam Churchill

Faz was a genuine friendly and warm hearted person. After only meeting him reccently as I was starting my new role Faz was one of the first friendly faces I met and from then on always had a smile on his face. He reccently donated towels to a dogs home for us going out of his way to be kind to others and this is how I willl know him from now on. It is such sad news and after only meeting him breifly he made such a big impact and he will be greatly missed. One of the good ones Faz.  You were wonderful.   …

I feel both honoured and privileged that I had the opportunity to work with and get to know Faz. When Faz used to visit the park when working with Infinium we would all enjoy seeing him, and we were delighted when he joined the team at The Warren permanently. This meant we got to know him even better, his personality would light up any room, and he always had time for others. Faz you will be sorely missed by myself and many more that you touched, I’ll miss our chats about our beloved Liverpool and Cricket.  …

Faz was a great colleague.  He was a warm and cheering presence at Infinium, and one of those humans who makes the world a brighter place.   You didn’t have to see Faz to know he was in the office. You would generally hear him first, but that was always a welcome sound. He might have been holding forth on the pros and cons of the latest Marvel movie, or he might have been telling a young Service Desk engineer how things are, in his usual no-nonsense style.  But his voice, and his laugh, always reassured the listener that Faz would be sorting things without any performance, and then going to find the fun in life.   I was always happy to see Faz, and I am very sorry that he is gone so soon.   …

I had the great pleasure of working with Faz for a number of years at Infinium. His laugh and personality could brighten up any room and he was a joy to be around. From his “how do” greeting, his adamancy to not wear any shoes in the office and keeping us all stocked up with supplies of his Mum’s homemade curry. I am deeply saddened to hear the news and his family and friends are in my thoughts. …
