Fatima Sonawar 1983 - 2021

In tribute to Fatima from her UCLH family

Fatima, 37, had worked alongside us in the endoscopy department for seven years, and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and worked with her. She was kind and caring, and a much valued member of our team. We will remember her as someone for whom family was important, who always worked with a can do attitude and made time for her colleagues. She was a pleasure to work with and will be dearly missed.

Warm, open, positive, friendly, and always keen to help. News of her passing was a shock felt by all of her admin, nursing and medical colleagues.

Fatima will never be forgotten and always warmly remembered.

We have created this book of remembrance for everyone that was touched by Fatima and to allow her UCLH family the opportunity to express something of what she meant to them.

When complete we plan to have it printed and present it to her family as a token of what she meant to us.

We have also created a Just Giving page to raise a fund for Fatima’s son, Aidan.  PLease click on the following link for details: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/fatima-sonawar
