Emma most certainly lived her life to the full, with so much energy, compassion and kindness. It seems so unjust that it was cut short by such a wretched illness… just imagine what could have been achieved had she had another 40+ years… the mind boggles! Emma was such an integral part of Thomas’s Fulham. She gave so much of herself to everyone with what seemed like limitless enthusiasm. She has left a mark on all of our hearts and will be forever remembered, especially for her positivity and wit!   …

Dearest Emma. It has taken me some time to write, but you have not been far from my thoughts daily. A total joy and privilege to have known you, it was not long enough but I count myself very lucky indeed. You were always ready for the best chats where ever we found ourselves; in school, in a playground or on the frontdoor step and it was always a shame when we had to end our conversations! Your advice was second to none, the most sound and sensible and gave me confidence in my own abilities, particularly when it came to parenting during a pandemic! To have taught both your beautiful girls is the biggest honour and I will be forever grateful to have had that opportunity. You were a beacon of light for all and will be missed beyond words. My love and thoughts to all your family. Lizzy x …

To dear Emma, Thank you for being such an incredible beacon of light and strength each and every day. Your presence always brought so much comfort and I was always so grateful for your radiant positivity, perspective and humour, which always restored the world to rights. That same effervescent light and strength lives on in Freya and Daphne, and I know you will be watching over them as they continue to bloom and grow, as will we all.  They will be surrounded by so much love. Sending you so much love, light and peace, Emma, always, as you journey ahead. With All my love, Pascale xxx     …

Emma truly was an inspiration to us all-grab life and live it well, which she embodied.  She is sorely missed; school is not the same without her positivity and energy and I am truly sorry for us all that Emma is no longer with us.  She will always remain in our hearts and her family in our prayers.  We were lucky to have known her; thank you Emma for everything you taught us. …

We have been so lucky to have Emma as part of our class for the last 4 years – she was always a calm and all-knowing voice, both at the beginning but also as the years went by. Emma’s strength of character, resiliance and cheerful demeanor is an inspiration. I am just so sorry for your loss – she will be so missed.  …

Emma touched so many people’s lives and was loved by everyone who met her. As someone lucky enough to work with her and call her a friend I witnessed how infectious her energy was! I still feel her buzzing about the office barefoot and organised, quick quips at the ready and putting things right. When I first became a mummy she gave me the no-nonsense real deal low down on parenting, for which i’ll be forever grateful! We never got to have our next playdate planned but I have no doubt your organising something somewhere. Another star in the sky. I will miss you Emma. Much love to you and your beautiful family. From Amy, Ant and Mylo x …

Such a joy and a blessing to have known Emma. Her enthusiasm, love of life, and kindness were contagious and the world is a dimmer place without her in it. Sending so much love to her family and loved ones. She will never be forgotten. With lots of love Gen x   …

Dear Emma’s family, Emma never seemed to waste a moment of her life. Emma was THE go to person to get things done; full of energy, organized (bewilderingly so!), unflappable – and all this with a wry smile behind the eyes. Her dry sense of humor put life’s struggles in their place. I’m sure I wasn’t the only person who often reflected to themselves “If you’ve got an Emma you’ll be fine”. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you try, somehow, to come to terms with such an enormous loss. Although Emma has passed on, our loving, positive memories of her remain with us urging us to seize the day! May you rest peacefully Emma. …
