Eleanor, You have been, and always will be my best friend. We have lived our lives together, through the good times and the bad, and the boys and I miss you desperately. I hope you will watch over us, wherever you are. Forever and always.  Your double-yolker …

I met Eleanor during her time to the University of Reading . My first memory was seeing her sitting at a picnic table on Campus and we chatted and found we had  lots in common. We realised we worked on the same corridor and we crossed paths on lots of occasions. I knew when Eleanor was in we could laugh and chat as if we had known each other for years and often found myself giggling with Eleanor. Eleanor’s warmth and empathy for her colleagues and those she managed shone through and she truly cared. She lwas a trusted and valued colleague to so many and she will be missed. I’m still shocked to hear of Eleanor’s passing as I’m sure her family and friends are and it will take some time to accept this huge loss. i attended Eleanor’s memorial Service today and what a tribute to an amazing o lady❤️😀 …

When I first met Els working at the Philharmonic pub in Liverpool, we did not always see eye to eye. We first bonded on a personal level over our love of literature and I confessed the first ‘grown up’ book I ever read was Wuthering Heights and we both poured over the language, the love story and the tragedy of Emily Brontë’s writing. There is a famous misquote of Wuthering Heights that she burned too bright for this world. Definitely a fitting quote for a beautiful soul who’s bright light was extinguished and she was taken from us far too soon. Goodnight beautiful Lady Dray and sincere condolences to all of her loved ones. We will think of her often and keep her alive with our laughter. …

We met Els on several occasions and she aways came across as a lively and fun loving girl. We would like to send our condolences to all her family and friends and we know she will be as greatly missed by everyone as she will be by us. …
