I was a patient of Dr. White for nearly a year. I am so saddened to hear of the news. I have just passed my doctorate degree last Thursday and wanted to share the news with Dr. White, I owed him that. May his soul rest in peace, he made me feel comfortable and was very helpful and supportive during the difficult times I was facing.    To Dr. White’s family: please accept my most sincere condolences. He was certainly a good man and he has touched the lives of many. May the Lord grant you peace and patience. -Yousif  …

I was only a patient of Sean for a short while, but he made a giant impression upon me. He really listened. He helped me have hope. He was the first doctor I met who really “got” it. I had chronic pain for 15 years that no one had been able to solve. It had become so bad I couldn’t walk — my favourite pastime. Sean solved it. Last week I returned from three weeks of hiking in Scotland and placed a stone on the cairn on Faraid Head in Durness in his memory. (That’s the photo I uploaded.) I have thought about him, and thanked him, many, many times since he died. Thank you for sharing Sean with us. He has left a really lasting impact and I’m so profoundly sad that he is no longer with us. My very best wishes to his family. …

A patient

I was so sad to hear of Sean’s untimely death.   After a long period of misdiagnosis, I became a patient of Sean.  He was instrumental in getting me the correct diagnosis and signposted to the correct treatment. To say that he changed the trajectory of my life is an understatement. His approach was holistic and creative.  He was both analytical and pragmatic.  Sean and I shared a similar background and I have no doubt that this helped shape the egoless man that he was. If anything, it sharpened his already razor-sharp mind.    He was clinically brilliant but also empathetic: a rare combination.     I will never forget him and will always be thankful to him.   My deepest condolences to his wife, children, extended family and friends and his colleague Nicola – Ar scáth a chéile a mhaireann na daoine …

In Memorial of a wonderful human being, a medical doctor and so very much more who will be very sadly missed by his family, friends, colleagues and all patients. Known to me for some 10 years, our relationship started off as a doctor/patient relationship whose medical advice was invaluable in improving my physical/mental health and general sense of wellbeing. An exceptionally kind and considerate advisor, and friend not only a medical doctor. His passing will leave an enormous void in the lives of everyone who came into contact with him either privately or professionally. RIP. Joyce …

I will always be grateful for Sean’s help managing my pain over the last ten years.  I would have struggled to get through law school without his help – I always appreciated his straightforward manner combined with good humour. …

I first became a patient of Dr White on 20th September 2021 during my hospital stay at the London Clinic. It was after 10 pm and I queried why he was working so late and he explained that there are a lot of people in pain and in need of his attention. During my time as his patient he constantly demonstrated his compassion and empathy to the degree that I considered he was my friend. Dr White’s ability and temperament were very unusual in a rather ego inflated profession. He was the epitome of kindness and understanding and it is for this reason that his untimely passing has caused such a sense of loss. It was a pleasure to have been treated by him. Please accept my condolences on the loss of somebody so charming, kind and special. …
