Dawn was a constant source of support and encouragement to me during my time with Deloitte. Despite her workload, how busy she was and her seniority in the firm, she always made time for a chat and a bit of laugh – be that about work, your weekend, holidays, football. She took a genuine interest in people.    Dawn had a great sense of humour and was great at reading the room and knew when to lighten the mood of a stressful audit room by telling jokes or poems or reminisicing about the “hub of the North” Portadown among other things. In May 1997 a team from Deloitte & Touche entered the Belfast Marathon Fun Run.  I don’t know why I entered as I couldn’t run the length of myself!  Dawn offered to stay behind work a few nights a week so that we could go out training to help me get ready for the event.  On the day, Dawn stayed by my side even though …

Remembering Dawn, a supportive colleague and friend.  Her chat, kindness and zest for life brightened many days in the office and I will always remember her as a good friend.  May she rest in peace.         …
