I started at MPS several weeks after Clare, and although I never got to meet her in person, we shared a bond by both being the ‘newbies’, finding our feet within the organisation. As others have said, Clare’s drive & passion shone through from the start, and coupled with her honest & straight-taiking approach, meant she’d already had a positive impact across MPS. I could see she was a natural leader who had already rightly earned the respect of her team, peers and stakeholders across the business. I also knew from the first minute we met that she was quite easily going to keep me in check! .. it’s hard to put into words, gone too soon just doesn’t seem to cut it, but is as close as I can get. My thoughts and condolences are with Clare’s family and friends and I hope we can play our part in remembering her by continuing her drive and legacy here at MPS. …

Clare and I only worked together briefly, but our working relationship was growing and I could already tell that she was hugely talented and energetic, with a sharp wit and intellect who would go on to do amazing things.  Every now and then I caught a glimpse into her life outside of work which just seemed to be full of fun, energy and adventure. I know that I have missed the chance to have my life enriched by Clare, as she must have already done for so many others.  My deepest sympathies go to all those who have lost her unique light and warmth, and I know that she will always be remembered fondly. …

It has taken me time to grasp the heartbreaking reality of your passing. Reflecting on our brief time working together, I feel incredibly fortunate to have crossed paths with you. The memories of our interactions will forever hold a special place in my heart, particularly the sparkle in your eyes as we discussed the exciting future. Your passion and down-to-earth nature were a true inspiration. Your impact will endure, continuing to motivate us all. My thoughts are with your loved ones. Take care, Clare. You will be deeply missed. …

Although I never met Clare in person we spoke multiple times and she was always considerate and friendly. It was like I had known her for years. Clare will be sorely missed.    …

A life lived to the full and so sadly cut short, with so much more still to offer. You made such a positive impact, even during the short time you were here at MPS, and are going to be missed. …

Although I only knew Clare briefly, like many she had a real impact on me from the moment I met her. We recruited her in late 2022 to join my team at MPS and from the first interview we had no doubts that she was the talented leader that we needed. Her qualities shone through and made our decision to offer her the role easy. She quickly became respected and liked. I found her authenticity in our one to one meetings incredibly refreshing and regadless of the situation and the topic she always left me feeling positive and reinforced my view that her team were in safe, capable and strong hands. In our daily leadership meetings it was always Clare with the unexpected but welcome comment that made us laugh and as much as I tried to bring energy and optimism to the sessions I was always outdone by Clare, she was a natural. Her passing is incredibly tragic and far too soon. When I think of her and look back through the sadness I cannot do anything but smile because that is what she always did, she brought joy to everyone. Take care Clare. …

Found an immediate connection with Clare whilst onboarding her and we fast became good friends, bonding over a shared love of Schitts Creek, The I.T. Crowd and fur babies (shout out to Dolly & Dusty!). She made me laugh whenever we chatted, which often went off on random tangents and overran until one of us was forced to leave for another meeting! She was incredibly warm, genuine and supportive and was clearly passionate about her role at MPS. I was so looking forward to meeting her in 3D in Leeds and gutted that it never happened. Clare talked a lot about her loving, colourful family, her nephews and of course her beautiful daughters and I am desperately sad for their loss. She will be missed and certainly once you’d met Clare you could never forget her. Sending all the love to her family.x …

Clare really did make a big impact very quickly and what a warm and fun impact that was. Such a passionate and driven individual with a wicked sense of humour and a genuine nature. I was so looking forward to working with her and so glad that I got to meet her for at least a short time.  My thoughts are with her family, I’m so desperately sorry for their loss. …

I only had chance to meet Clare virtually, even so her warmth and wicked sense of humour was evident, we had a good laugh when we met and I appreciated her can-do spirit and inquisitive mind.  It was so clear she loved what she was doing and had started to make a real impact.   My thoughts are with her family and friends at the unbelievably difficult time,  I am so sorry for your loss. …

I had the pleasure to meet and greet Clare on her first day at MPS and was worried that she might not turn up next day after my poor attempt to welcome her. Despite that, she continued to make an impact with her passion and energy every single day. We were very lucky to have her join the team and everyone instantly liked and respected her. She will be thoroughly missed and continue to live in our memories forever… …
