Chris Malkin

This book remembers our friend and colleague Chris Malkin who passed on Wednesday 21st of October 2020.   The book will collect remembrances from those that worked with him and had the honour of experiencing his professionalism, kindness and fellowship.

Chris was the Head of fleet for Lancashire Police and a valued member of the National Association of Police Fleet Managers (NAPFM) since 2002.   In 2008 he took the lead for our national procurement committee, working across forces, government departments and manufacturers to ensure the UKs front-line police officers could deploy in safe and effective operational vehicles.

Please feel free to share your memories of Chris on this site, as this may provide comfort to his family and friends, as we also celebrate his life and the person Chris was.  

The family have indicated a preference for any donations to be made to the British Heart Foundation.   Donations can be made via a cheque to be made out to British Heart Foundation c/o J W Ball (Southport) Ltd 95 Bispham Road Southport PR9 7DF just add a note to say in “respect of Chris Malkin”.

A private family funeral is due to take place on the 4th November at Southport, our association along with all those that knew Chris professionally, extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones at this time.   Chris was highly respected and liked by colleagues and suppliers and his loss will be felt by all those that knew him.
