I don’t even know where to start hence the reason why I’ve delayed submitting this. My Granny took care of me, taught me some of her many recipes, guided me, supported me , cooked for me and cared for me and my brother from the day we entered this world. Her voice will never be forgotten, her particular ways things had to be done will never be forgotten, how she pronounced my name and her fancy handwriting will never be forgotten. I will very much dearly Miss My Granny Shirley but lord knows how happy I am that I spent time with her. I will forever be reminded of her because she had a big impact on me. She was a true definition of a determined and hard working woman. She will be dearly missed. To hear her voice one more time would be so warming so until we meet again Gran I will enjoy and cherish the beautiful memories I have. Pierresha …

Dearest Mervyn, Yolande, Patrick and Sethantes, I deeply admired Auntie Shirley’s character and heart and I will always remember her with love. When I think of Auntie Shirley, I always remember the days at Princess May Road, she ran a tight ship when it came to housework and her famous white glove for checking we had completed our chores to her high standard. Along with Auntie Gladys they were a force to be reckoned with.  Words cannot describe how you are feeling right now,  but know that we stand together in grief and love for Catherine Shirley Campbell.  I will miss her deeply. You are all in my thoughts and heart.  …
