In Loving Memory of

BW

Ben Wallis

Ben was a one in a million kind of guy, he will be sorely missed by all.

His love of checked shirts and trainers was second only to his love of sweet treats.

Ben was our resident joker as well as being the team ‘oracle’, his daily jokes always brought a smile to our faces

You will be so missed Ben.  I have fond memories of working with you and Phil when they set up Specialised Care – the ‘art’ work that you and Phil used to put on my PC if I left it unlocked was interesting to say the least.  You inspired all of us with the way you coped with your health problems and still manage to have a smile on your face and make us laugh.  Rest easy friend x …

Dearest Ben, You will be greatly missed. You were one of the nicest, kindest people I have ever met. I loved your sense of humour and looked forward to your daily joke each morning! You were always so kind and helpful with all my questions when I moved to spec care. Nothing was ever too much trouble and you were always so supportive and kind. Really going to miss you and our early morning chats, you would always make me laugh. May you rest in peace, lots of love Becky xxx …

Ben was so lovely, he was kind, gentle and always very calm with endless patience. It was a pleasure to listen to how he dealt with our members on the phone. He would speak to them with care and respect and certainly made them feel special. His knowledge was amazing and he was always happy to share this.  He was a credit to the team and Vitality.  He used to sit very near to me when we were last in the office and I would often offer to get him a hot drink from the machine, to save his legs and he was also so gracious and appreciative.  I shall miss him and his wonderful sense of humour which always made me smile. …

Ben will really be missed in the specilised care team, I had only known Ben for a couple of years but in that time he supported me whilst i was training and showed me the true meaning of a great work ethic. He would have me in tears of laughter at his jokes and always new when someone needed cheering up. I am sending healing prayers to Bens family and friends specialised care will not be the same without you. …

Ben, you will be greatly missed.  You taught me so much when I first joined Vitality, tips and phrases I still rely on today.  The Friday training chocolate was always appreciated!   Your sense of humour, never complaining about anything, jelly snakes, expensive aftershave, your Mum’s chocolate cookies and of course, the famous check shirts.  One in a million, a loss to Vitality and everyone who ever had the good fortune to know you.  Goodbye Ben xxx …

Dear Ben The very sad news of your passing has reached me in France.  You will be very much missed. You reached so many people in your life m’dear.  Whether it was via your assistance with work matters, or by time spent having a chat. I was lucky enough to have engaged with you on both points, many many times over the past 10 years. Always happy to help with a query and always happy to chew the cud and have a joke – we shared many of those outside on the steps! I am so very sorry that you are no longer with us and pass on my heartfelt condolences and love to your family.  Rest in peace Ben. Au revoir mon ami. TP xxx …

Ben you were such a lovely, funny and genuinely nice bloke. I have some fond memories of working with you in CSD, any question I had you were always happy to help, you were like an oracle! After I left to go to IT, whenever I saw you you’d always smile and stop for a chat. You will be missed a lot at Vitality, my thoughts are with your family and friends x …
