Andy, such a huge loss for all those who knew you.  You always had a warm smile for everyone and truly embraced your role in Enforcement and did whatever it took, even if that meant dressing up as Pudsie! Heartfelt condolences to all your family, you will be gone but never forgotten. …

Andy, you truly were a kind and caring man first and a fantastic manager second. The only manager I have had at CMG, your support and trust in me throughout my time here I will never forget. Whenever I have wobbled you always had the right things to say and generally had me laughing by the end…. I have great memories of fun times on Community 10K events, digging paths at Mount Edgecombe or, as others have mentioned, your love of dressing up in silly costumes for all to laugh at….You were fantastically knowledgable about all things Enforcement and could always guide me in the right direction when I was stuck and your support with any personal issues was truly appreciated… You will be sorely missed from Enforcement as a whole but for me as a great friend and mentor I will miss you. I am glad we managed to keep in touch whilst you were so poorly and can’t believe you are no longer around to talk to when needed…. …

Andy, I am so sorry you never got the chance to enjoy your retirement. I know you had such lovely plans.  It was a real pleasure working with you over the years.  Our paths crossed a few times, we had such fun with Lawrence and Melita back in 1993/94, they kept you on your toes.  Times were tough sometimes when the pressure was on us to meet targets that appeared to be unachievable, but you always had a smile and you always managed to chivvy us up and encourage us to look outside the box to achieve them. This was the longest spell i have had working with you and thngs hadn’t changed, you encouraged us with a smile to do our best.  Your journey has left a mark with so many people, I’ll miss you x …

It is strange not having Andy at the wheel in Legal Enforcement – a significant amount of highly valued experience and knowledge have disappeared with his passing. In my 18 years working here, I have never met such a well-versed and eloquent speaker – it was something that I always quietly admired about him. I hold dear my memories of the guidance he gave me over the years – I will remember his quality for a long time to come.  …

Andy my heart sank when I heard the news. I have worked and known you for so many years and you always had that cheeky smile when we were talking whether it was work or just general chat. You will be missed by so many people who had the pleasure of knowing. My condolences to the family xx …

I find it so hard to believe you are gone.  You were such a familiar face around our desks I think I may still be in disbelief that I won’t see you again.  I enjoyed our chats about family and the advice you gave me about various aspects of our work and I have caught myself chuckling when I remember taking you geocaching up in Dudley when we were up there for a period of time.  I never thought you’d go for it, but you did and we stayed out for ages, not wanting to give up looking.  If I remember rightly, it was nearly dark by the time we got back. It was only meant to be a quick walk after tea to help our tea go down.  Anyway, I feel very sorry I have to sit here and write this about you but I’ll say bye for now.  …
